Yeadon Sailing Clubs Come and Try sessions are an excellent way of trying sailing for those new to the sport. Experienced members will take you out on the water and take you on a trip around the tarn giving you a chance to learn more about how boats sail and to see if you will enjoy it.
Whilst doing this they will talk to you about the many different ways you can enjoy this fun activity and also what the club has to offer. If you decide to join you will be able to take part in our Start Sailing training series that runs until mid August.
All money raised from the Come & Try sessions will go towards our operating costs and funds for a new training facility.

Come and try sailing sessions are suitable for adults and children 8 years and over who can follow instructions, can swim and are able to enter and exit a sailing boat on the water. Unfortunately, our clubhouse is not suitable for those with disabilities who are unable to climb steps, this is one of the many reasons why we are looking for a new clubhouse.
