Dear All,
As you are aware we are running the Club without a Commodore this year, (however volunteers are very welcome!) so this year for our Annual Summer extravaganza we are changing things around a bit !
Hence the title “ Not the Commodore’s, Not the Weekend.”
So on Saturday 6th July we are having a Club Day with all the good things that happen on a typical Commodore’s Weekend squeezed into one great day !
So please let any Committee member know what things you would like to see run on the day, and even better if you could volunteer to run an event or an activity that would be great!!!!
We plan to start at 12 noon with raft building and then follow that with a number of other events, fun races, relays, climbing the mast, and of course the bottle race, throughout the afternoon. After 5pm we are having a barbeque and the Club will provide the food – burgers, sausages, kebabs, veggie option – Please sign up via Webcollect (see link below)
You can carry sailing in the evening you just enjoy the barbeque and relaxing with other Club members and friends. Then we will finish with the Midnight Race as the darkness falls !
